Gendai Reiki is a simple, practical Reiki method that can be incorporated into daily life and is aligned with Mikao Usui’s teachings for spiritual growth and well-being. The Gendai Reiki Method is widely recognised in Japan and around the world.
There are several unique aspects to Gendai Reiki. Traditional methods form the basis and starting point. Ancient methods and other healing disciplines are incorporated into the training. The method keeps a clear focus on healing through spiritual means, allowing the practices in Gendai Reiki to move forward with this goal.
With Gendai Reiki Ho, you will be able to heal the mind and body and improve spirituality.
Gendai Reiki Ho is structured in four levels:
Shoden – Level I
R1900 – 3 lessons of 3½ hours each
- Introduction to the history and philosophy of Reiki
- Learning the five principles of Reiki
- Mastering the four basic hand positions for self-healing and healing others
- Discovering the concept of energy flow and its application in Reiki
- Experiencing the profound relaxation and healing benefits of Reiki
- Techniques such as Gassho meditation, Reiki Mawashi, Jaka Kiri Joka Ho, Hikari No Kokyo Ho, Hatsurei Ho and more
Okuden – Reiki II
R2200 – 3 lessons of 3½ hours each (three weeks after Shoden)
- Advanced techniques for distance healing and group healing
- Understanding the three Reiki symbols and their powerful energies
- Exploring the concept of spiritual growth and self-discovery through Reiki
- Deepening your connection with your Reiki guides and the universal energy
- Techniques such as Hatsurei Ho, Jiko Joka and more
Shinpiden – Reiki III
R2600 – 4 lessons of 3½ hours each (three months after Okuden)
- Connecting to the consciousness of the higher dimension
- The concept of the Higher Self
- The meaning and usage of the Master Symbol
- Philosophy and teachings of Usui Sensei – treatment techniques
- How to deepen your meditation practice
- How to integrate Reiki into your daily life
- Using Reiki for self-purifying and self-growth
- What is a spiritual awakening
Gokuikaiden (Master) – Level IV
R5400 – 4/5 lessons of 3½ hours each (one year after completing Shinpiden)
Pre-requisite: Gendai Shoden, Okuden and Shinpiden levels
50 written documented case studies required
- The theory and practice of the attunement
- How to behave and live life as a Reiki Master (teacher)
- The understanding and usage of the symbols and the Kotodamas
- What to teach in every level
