Karuna Reiki® Masters
Energencia Healing Academy – Waterfall, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Karuna is a beautiful Sanskrit word meaning “any action taken to alleviate the suffering of others.” It is often translated as compassionate action. When we awaken more fully, we recognise that all beings are interconnected. From this place of oneness it becomes natural to extend compassion freely, because we understand that we are all one.
Karuna embodies the loving motivation of enlightened beings who work to ease suffering on Earth. As you cultivate Karuna within yourself, you become a clearer channel of support for others and more open to the healing light offered by these enlightened beings, allowing your own healing to deepen and accelerate.
Karuna Reiki® is a compassionate, heart-centred evolution of traditional Reiki. It works deeply with the energies of mercy, forgiveness and emotional release, supporting profound healing on subconscious, karmic and emotional levels.
This advanced system is usually studied after a strong foundation in Usui Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho). It builds on the original teachings with additional symbols, frequencies and techniques that allow greater depth, sensitivity and precision — especially in emotional healing, trauma integration and soul-level transformation.
When combined with Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki® does not replace it. It enriches it. Together they create a beautifully integrated approach that supports both personal evolution and the ability to hold space for others with deeper compassion and presence.
In this Karuna Reiki® Masters training you will receive the Karuna Master Practitioner Attunement and symbols, and learn all the Karuna Attunements for Levels I, II and Masters.
