I’m Alanha Prior, and I’ve always felt a little different. My perspective on the world has never quite matched that of most people, and I’ve always felt life and people on a much deeper level. As a child, I was highly intuitive and incredibly sensitive to my surroundings. Growing up, being so different often felt overwhelming—not just for me, but for my family and friends too. I was often called the “weirdo,” and in some ways, I probably still am. But that’s okay, because I’ve always had a deep desire to understand the deeper meaning of life. Questions like “Why am I here?” and “What is my purpose?” have always driven me. I struggled to conform to societal norms without challenging them.
In 2009, I experienced a spiritual healing that stirred something within me. It was then that I signed up for a Reiki course in 2010, unsure of what to expect. Little did I know, Reiki would change my life completely. It opened up a world of infinite possibilities and led me to discover people who shared my way of thinking—those who felt life as deeply and personally as I did. But most importantly, I found myself.
The more I learned, the more I realized how much there was still to explore. Reiki had such a profound impact on me that I felt compelled to share this incredible, empowering knowledge with others. In 2014, I began teaching, and I’ve been dedicated to helping people empower themselves ever since.
I am deeply passionate about what I do—about helping people take charge of their lives, rediscover their true selves, and embrace their uniqueness. My mission is to guide others to find and nurture the “real” version of themselves, the one they were always meant to be. And in doing so, helping them own their individuality while supporting others to do the same.
Energencia has grown into a beautiful community of like-minded souls, all working together to create a supportive, empowering space.
